Workshop
Our workshop is located on a 16 acre homestead property just outside of Oberlin, OH. As a full service workshop, it is well equipped with machinery and space to handle any type of major pipe organ repair, restoration, tuning, voicing, construction project. As a landmark Oberlin small business, our company is an active member of the Oberlin Chamber of Commerce and has hosted other chamber members on its site.
Assembly, Installation, Testing Shop
This is the area in our workshop where pipes are assembled, voiced and tuned before installation on site. We also perform quality testing on pipe organ control systems such as solid state components for switching and organ consoles as well as organ blowers, wind chests, bellows, magnets and other organ components in this area. The added height of the ceiling allows for assembly of an entire pipe organ. In fact we currently have two pipe organs housed in this area of the shop. One is used as a demo organ for our shop tours and the second one is for sale waiting to find its new home. We have a special pipe organ voicing machine that is used for voicing pipes that have been damaged or need to be voiced during other major pipe organ restorations.

Leather Shop
Did you know that a typical traditional pipe organ uses dozen or so different types of hides and leathers that come from sheep, cows, kangaroo etc. Re-leathering is a key element of any effective pipe organ preservation and restoration program especially for historic organs. Re-leathering can be a labor intensive process requiring precision and skilled craftsmanship. Our company takes great pride in paying meticulous attention to the task at hand.
Demo Organ
Our demo organ is specifically designed to be an educational tool for our visitors. You can have a peek into the inner workings of a pipe organ on our demo continual organ. Technological advancements have made it possible to integrate electronic components into traditional organs while maintaining the sound quality and authenticity of the organ builder's design. The demo organ features solid state technology that significantly enhances reliability and the overall functional performance of the pipe organ.

Wood Shop
The wood shop is equipped with modern wood working machines that enable us to craft fine wood for organ consoles, decorative facades, cabinetry, other functional chests and pipe racking. Our pipe organ technicians are trained to operate this equipment and encouraged to continually update their woodworking skills as a key aspect of our company's apprenticing program.
Paint & Finishing Shop
Although a pipe organ can be made up of thousands of pipes, most people typically see only the ones that make up the facade exterior. At times these are real sounding pipes and at other times they are fake pipes that only add to the aesthetics. However these facade pipes and the artistic cabinetry that holds the facade pipes often makes up one of the most visually striking features of this King of Instruments. Our paint and finishing shop allows us to add the delicate aesthetic touch adding immeasurably to the overall magnificence of the pipe organ.
Workshop on Wheels
Our company van makes it possible for us to offer you comprehensive on site service and safe transportation of organ components when work needs to be completed at the workshop.
